Olivia Wilde Coming Back For “House” Series Finale
House will be ending its eight-season run this year – and one of its biggest stars will be returning: Olivia Wilde! Entertainment Weekly reports that the 28 year-old actress, who jumped from TV roles on The OC and House to big film roles in TRON, The Change Up, and eight other upcoming movies, will appear in the House series finale on May 21.
Olivia played Dr. Remy Hadley, aka “Thirteen” on the show, named because she was the #13 intern in Season 4, when Hugh Laurie’s character added to his staff through a competition of interns who gradually got fired. She eventually left the show in season 8, episode 3.
EW speculates that Olivia could be a patient in the series finale, since her character suffers from Huntington’s Disease. She might also just be her usual doctor self… or maybe even a ghost. (Let’s hope House doesn’t go the Grey’s Anatomy route.)
Do you still watch House? I watched for years, but lost touch with it around season 7ish. However, my girl crush on Olivia Wilde will probably make me tune in for the series finale!
