Kim Kardashian has taken a lot of criticism over the years for being a celebrity with very little substance (particularly in recent days), but at least she has a good attitude about most things and doesn’t take herself to seriously.
Her calm demeanor was on display last evening at the London Hotel in West Hollywood. Kim was attending an event to promote her new fragrance, True Reflection, when she was attacked by a fan. A young female emerged from the crowd of people and dumped an entire bag of flour on Kim.
Rather than throwing a fit and making a big scene out of the incident, Kim calmly walked off, cleaned herself up and then returned to continue the event (to an ovation for many in attendance). Good for her!
“That probably is the craziest, unexpected, weird thing that ever happened to me,” Kim said afterwards. “Like I said to my makeup artist, I wanted more powder and that’s a whole lot of translucent powder right there,” she joked.
Sister Kourtney Kardashian, who was not at the event, made her feelings known in a post on her Twitter account: “Classy to flour bomb my sister at her charity event helping women. I wonder if they would have dared thrown the flour at my hormonal and pregnant self!”
The flour-bomber was apprehended by security. Kim reportedly didn’t want to press charges, but a non-criminal battery charge was filed nonetheless.
It’s still unclear precisely why this unidentified woman decided to dump flour on Kim. Some witnesses claim they heard her yelling something about fur.
