DWTS 2012: Gladys Knight Receives Lowest Score So Far! Do You Agree?
Jack Wagner and partner Anna Trebunskaya go for the jive. Len says they surpassed the acceptable standards to make it through the next week. Bruno says they weren’t precisely on beat at all times. Carrie Ann says Jack overdanced it. All three judges give them a 7.
The Empress of Soul Gladys Knight and Tristan MacManus dance the quick step to Stevie Wonder. Bruno says she has to hold her frame throughout the entire dance. Carrie Ann says it was a bit too casual for the quick step and was too busy gazing into Tristan’s eyes. Len says even though he loves Gladys he didn’t fully appreciate her performance tonight. Gladys Knight says this is the first time she’s been nervous. Carrie Ann and Bruno give them a 7 and Len scores them an all-time low 5.
Opera singer Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas received the highest score during the first week (along with Jaleel White), and thus have a lot to live up to during today’s jive. Bruno shouts, “The blonde bombshell has been unleashed! I know sexy when I see it!” Carrie Ann and Bruno give them 9s and Len gives them an 8.
Jaleel White and Kym Johnson dance the jive to “Marry You” by Bruno Mars. They have an oldies diner theme going on. Len says it lacked real attack and speed, but there wasn’t a crispness about it. Carrie Ann says it was good but it didn’t have the extra sparkle. They receive 7s from Len and Carrie Ann, an 8 from Bruno.
