Jonathan Antoine Blows The Judges Away–Even Simon!–On Britain’s Got Talent (WATCH!)
Stories as inspiring as Susan Boyle’s don’t come along too often, but it looks like this season of Britain’s Got Talent has one to remember. It features the shy, heavy young man with a voice of pure gold, along with his supportive singing partner.
The young man is Jonathan Antoine, a heavy-set 17-year-old. His partner is Charlotte Jaconelli, 16.
When the duo first took the stage, it appeared that many in the crowd (including judge Simon Cowell) were skeptical about how good they would be. Jonathan appeared to be extremely nervous and almost starting singing too soon (as you’ll see in the video below). Once he started belting out the notes, however, the crowd realized what a special talent he is and many rose to their feet to applaud.

As noted by many, Jonathan’s voice is reminiscent of the late, great tenor Luciano Pavarotti.
Simon was clearly won over by Jonathan’s talent, but he was less impressed by Charlotte. Simon even went as far as suggesting that she would hold Jonathan back and recommending that he ditch her to pursue a career on his own. According to Jonathan, that won’t be happening.
“We’ve come on here as a duo, and we’re going to stay here as a duo,” stated Jonathan, to cheers from the crowd.
