Alec Baldwin Engaged to Hilaria Thomas!
Alec Baldwin put a ring on it! The Huffington Post reports that the 30 Rock star and Words with Friends aficionado has proposed to his girlfriend Hilaria Thomas. Hilaria is a yoga instructor and co-owner at New York’s Yoga Vida yoga studio – and she’s also 28, which is 26 years younger than Alec, who is 54.
Alec’s rep confirmed the engagement, which took place over the weekend on Long Island. They have not yet set a date.
Alex and Hilaria have only been dating for a year! Hilaria was born in Mallorca, Spain, grew up between Boston and Spain and studied dance and art history at NYU before becoming a yoga instructor. You can follow her on Twitter, where she often Tweets with Alec and also talks about his daughter, Ireland. When Ireland tweeted congratulations to the happy couple and said “love you guys,” Hilaria responded, “love you mas xoxo.” Alec has not yet mentioned the engagement on his Twitter page.
This will be Hilaria’s first marriage, and Alec’s second. He was married to Kim Basinger in 1993, but the couple divorced in 2001. Hilaria was only ten when Alec first got married! Eek…
