Lindsay Lohan Accused of Nightclub Assault: Is Lilo in Trouble Again?
Lindsay Lohan, 25, has been accused of assaulting a woman in an L.A. nightclub. This accusation comes two weeks after a judge ended Lohan’s supervised probation. The actress had previously been on four years probation, following her 2007 arrest for a DUI and cocaine possession.
Sources say that Lohan became engaged in a disagreement after the woman approached one of her male friends. The altercation occurred on Thursday, and the woman filed a battery complaint on Saturday, accusing Lohan of shoving her at the West Hollywood nighclub.
Lohan’s representative Steve Honig said the allegations are false. “This is clearly another case of someone looking for money and 15 minutes of fame,” stated Honig. The charges come two weeks after Lohan’s probation has been lifted. Although, she remains on informal probation until 2014 for stealing a necklace last year, she will no longer have to report regularly to the court.
The hearing two weeks ago seemed to be an end to Lilo’s five-year-long troubles with the law: 250 days in rehab, 35 days in home confinement, 67 days on community service, 19 days in court, and six trips to jail.
The Mean Girls actress is pegged to portray Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime movie, and play herself on Glee after a recently successful hosting gig on Saturday Night Live.
What do you think? Has Lilo changed? Or will she revert to her old ways?
