American Idol: Fantasia Sends Personal Greeting to Joshua Ledet, Colton and Skylar Deny Dating Rumors Again
Fantasia sends in a personal video greeting to Joshua Ledet. He chooses “Runaway Baby” by Bruno Mars. Akon says he likes Joshua because he’s quiet and he listens. He also says Joshua’s voice can pierce people’s hearts. Jimmy thinks if Joshua carries his humility with him all the way through it will take him to big places. I think he’s right.
Steven Tyler says he can sell a song like a work of art. He then advises him to get the six-foot dancer’s number. JLo is all about Joshua. Randy says it was an unbelievable performance. Joshua seems a bit more relaxed today which I like.
The next duet is Skylar Laine and Colton Dixon. They both reiterate that they’re not dating. Colton says it’s because she owns a gun. Nonetheless, they decide to sing a love song, “Don’t You Wanna Stay” by Kelly Clarkson. Despite their vehement denials, they do have some good on-stage chemistry. Steven Tyler says they “just made love singing to each other.” Randy says it was just okay. JLo also seems lukewarm.
