Britney Spears & X-Factor? A Cool $10 Million Paycheck?
It looks like Britney Spears, 30, may be turning her life around. It’s reported that the superstar is being offered $10 million to become a judge for X Factor. It was rumored that both Britney and Rihanna were contenders for the coveted judge’s spot, but there may be more to the speculations.
Sources say that Britney’s fiance/manager Jason Trawick, 40, is in negotiations with the show, and is supposedly holding out for a cool $20 million pay deal. A representative of X Factor declined to comment. It looks like Jason’s got Britney’s back, and her desire to have him as a co-conservator may be both a great personal and business gain.
It’s rumored that the deal may be finalized by early next week. Besides Rihanna, other runners-up for the judge’s seat were Janet Jackson and the recently deceased Whitney Houston. If Britney accepts the $10 million dollar, she’ll the lesser paid of other female talent show judges. Christina Aguilera (The Voice) and Jennifer Lopez (American Idol) both get paid more than Britney’s $10 million offer, with Lopez taking home a whopping $12 million.
