Dancing With The Stars Motown Night: Maria Menounos Slips on Stage, Roshon Fegan Is Too Jerky
Extra presenter Maria Menounos and Derek Hough are dancing the fox trot to Martha Reeves. This dance is much classier than she… feels comfortable with, but per history Maria done well regardless of the dance. Bruno says her movement is right on point, Carrie Ann points out Maria’s slip on the stairs and that it threw her off afterward, and Len says it was a joy to his eyes.
Carrie Ann gives them an 8 and the other two judges give them 9s. Maria and Derek are thrilled because they thought they’d score much lower due to her slip.
The Disney Channel star Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower are next with the rumba – and Smokey Robinson. Roshon has a bit of trouble being sexy during rehearsals but he’s persistance. Carrie Ann says Roshon’s mvoes were a bit exaggerated tonight. Len says the movement was clipped and jerky, and it was “too much syncopation” for his eyes. Bruno says that what he lacks in size he makes up in fire.
The scores? Carrie Ann gives them a 7 and Len and Bruno give them 8s.
