Dancing With The Stars Motown Week – Gladys Knight Reunites With The Temptations to Dance the Rumba

It’s Motown Week at Dancing With The Stars and the show kicks off with none other than Smokey Robinson, Martha Reeves, and The Temptations!

There are eight couples left. Tonight, each pair will dance to a Motown hit as well as participate in a dance marathon for extra points.

Gladys Knight, a Motown legend herself, is up first with partner Tristan MacManus to dance the rumba. They will do so to The Temptations’ “My Girl” (who are singing live!). Gladys reminsces her time with The Tempatations and her numerous performances with them on the road. She calls her brother, “the original Pip,” over to teach them some Motown moves.

Len Goodman says Gladys is the most charismatic dancer and her dancing “easy like Sunday morning.” Bruno Tonioli says the Motown details were obviously spot on but he prefers more spice in a rumba. Carrie Ann Inaba says that despite the minor mistakes, it’s Gladys’ night.

All three judges score a 7.

What did you think of Ms. Gladys Knight?
