American Idol Results: Elise Testone Eliminated From Competition
Casey Abrahms is on stage dispensing some advice to the top six on how to survive the tour. He says they should watch out for pranks.
Season ten alum Stefano performs. This is the first time I’ve heard of or seen him since… season ten. His performance is mediocre at best. The top six contestants are probably thinking, “If that guy has an album, I think I’m good.”
Jimmy Iovine wonders if Hollie Cavanagh sang “Save Me” to send some subliminal messages to the voting audience. He rates her a B+. He thinks “Climb” was much better and as “well as she could do” but thinks she might be too late. Jimmy thinks Joshua is awesome and the competition is truly messed up if he goes home tonight.
Hollie is in the bottom three, Josh the top three. No surprise there.
Katy Perry then performs “Part of Me” wearing a characteristic skin-tight outfit (today’s is camouflage). Her hair is purple today if you must know.
Skylar and Phillip are up next. Jimmy thinks she did a very “confident job,” but her second song, “Tattoos on This Town,” was self-indulgent. Phillip, who Ryan now calls “Ladykiller” since Julianna Hough has the hots for him, stands by Skylar. Jimmy says Phillip is having a rough time and it’s really starting to show.
The third person in the bottom three is Skylar Laine – but she’s told immediately that she’s safe which means either Hollie or Elise is heading home.
Ryan Seacrest announces that Elise Testone is going home.
