American Idol Top Six Contestants Face TMZ, Jessica Sanchez in Top Three
The top six will become five tonight.
Katy Perry, season ten Idol alum Stefano and a fan-picked band, Queen Extravaganza, will all perform. Queen Extravaganza begins with their rendition of “Somebody to Love.”
The contestants head on over to TMZ.com. They advise Phillip Phillips to own the fact that JLo thinks he’s hot. They ask Skylar about dating Colton, and inform Joshua Ledet that his moniker Mantasia is also a male strip club. They show the photos of the dirty Idol bedrooms and bathrooms and specifically ask about the cereal on the bathroom counter. They advise Jessica Sanchez to be careful with her YouTube videos.
Jessica and Elise are up first. Jimmy Iovine says that Jessica singing Bohemian Rhapsody was a mistake, especially the background photos of her during her performance. (“It wasn’t Queen, it was Stephen King.”) He says Elise chose the wrong Queen song and her performance was very “clubby.”
Ryan says one of them are in the top three and the other in the bottom three. Jessica is in the former and Elise in the latter.
