Patrick Dempsey Rescues Teen in Car Crash
Patrick Dempsey, 46, and Ryan Gosling, 31, have something in common. Their luscious manes? Dreamy eyes? Nope. Their penchant for rescuing people.
Dempsey came to the aid of a teen who flipped and crashed his car this week. The car overturned many times before landing squarely on the Grey’s Anatomy star’s front yard. McDreamy, as fans and Seattle Grace characters love to call him, rushed to the Mustang with first aid kit and fire extinguisher. Other reports say that he had a crowbar in hand to wrench the teen free.
Whatever he was holding, the TV surgeon was able to free the boy before calling 911. The teen had no serious injuries, but the car is said to be totaled. A source at the scene says that the actor’s role as a neurosurgeon helped him in this time of crisis. “He knew all the right questions to ask! Squeeze my hand or whatever.”
It seems that both the East and West coast can sleep easy tonight. We have Ryan Gosling in NYC saving women and breaking up fights, while Patrick Dempsey looks over the Malibu residents. La swoon. (It’s a French swoon, people.)
