Dancing With The Stars: Maria Menounos Gets Perfect Score From Judges – A Season First!
Extra presenter Maria Menounos and Derek Hough have a bit of emotional tension during practice. He tells her to be “more attractive.” Maria cries because she feels pressured being Derek’s partner since he’s accustomed to dancing with other professionals. They dance the Paso Doble to an intense song with a lot of punctuating. Maria is wearing vampire fangs.
Carrie Ann says Maria was “so on fire” and Katherine better watch out because Maria might be taking over for the women. Len is thoroughly impressed and Bruno loves the way she built the tension and says it was absolutely spellbounding.
All three judges give them a 10! The first perfect 30 of the season!
Family Matters actor Jaleel White and Kym Johnson are last up. Will they feel the pressure after Maria’s perfect score? Jaleel inadvertently grabs Kym’s breasts during practice because he was “so focused on his frame.” They dance the Viennese waltz.
Len says he “liked it enough not to be cruel but not enough to be kind.” He criticizes Jaleel’s footwork. Bruno agrees on the technical errors but thought the overall story and dance was nice. Carrie Ann says to watch the hands.
All three judges give them 8s.
