Jessica Simpson Baby Gift From Ex Hubbie, Nick Lachey
Who says divorce brings out the worst in people? Nick Lachey and current wife, Vanessa Lachey (formerly Minnillo) sent the new mom a sweet baby gift. Sweet being the operative word. What did the two send Jess?
A source says that “A large basket of pink and white cookies were delivered to Jessica’s hospital room at Cedars-Sinai earlier from Nick and Vanessa. The basket was delivered by Cookies By Design and included seven huge cookies with adorable baby girl decorations.”
There seems to be no animosity between the two. After their highly publicized wedding and marriage, Lachey and Simpson parted ways in 2005 under media scrutiny, and those who were there to see the birth of their love were also there to see its dissolution three years later.
The Newlyweds have since moved on: Nick with wife Vanessa who’s expecting their first child later this year, and Jessica with Eric—the two should be tying the knot sometime soon. Jessica and Eric were engaged a mere week after Nick proposed to Vanessa in 2010. After settling down with new baby Maxwell Drew, we’ll most likely hear some wedding news in the future.
Celebrities galore can finally breathe a sigh of relief with the birth of baby girl Maxwell Drew. As reported, Katy Perry was feeling quite anxious about the extremely pregnant Jessica. Celebrity moms have come forward to congratulate the new mom.

Most likely, Jessica and Eric will be sending out their own baby gift to Nick and Vanessa in the near future. Until then, we’re happy to hear that Jess is getting some love from her ex hubbie.
