Amanda Seyfried as Linda Lovelace — Porn Star Transformation
Holy moly, Amanda Seyfried transforms into 70′s porn star, Linda Lovelace! Dear John, our little Amanda is not so little anymore. Remember her doe eyes and pretty blonde mane in Mean Girls, well this isn’t Kansas anymore. The 26-year-old actress is featured in the Lovelace movie poster with a brown coif, pouty lips, and wearing red négligé.
Seyfried takes on the role of the fragile and pioneering porn star, Lovelace, who starred in the first porn with a plot line (or something resembling one, sorta). The movie portrays Lovelace’s meteoric rise to porn fame with the release of Deep Throat.
Lovelace goes from porn ingenue to anti-porn activist, revealing that her abusive husband Chuck Traynor, played by Peter Sarsgaard, forced her to film the iconic Deep Throat at gunpoint.
Other stars in the film include James Franco as a young Hugh Hefner, and Sarah Jessica Parker as the feminist and activist Gloria Steinem.
The Lovelace storyline made headlines earlier when Lindsay Lohan was said to be cast in the leading role of Inferno (another Lovelace biopic), and then dropped out. She’s now transforming into Elizabeth Taylor, which is probably a smart move, Lindsay. Malin Akerman took over the role, but production on the project isn’t making any headway.
No matter, our sweet Amanda Seyfried has stepped into the sultry and troubled role of Lovelace. The film is expected to be released later this year.
