Jessica Simpson’s Fiancé is a ‘Amazing Dad’
The birth of Maxwell Drew drew a collective sigh of relief from anxious fans, friends, and family members of Jessica Simpson and fiancé, Eric Johnson. So how’s fatherhood faring for the football player? We know it’s only been three days, but Eric Johnson is reportedly a hands-on dad who’s great with Maxwell Drew.
The little girl is said to already be a daddy’s girl. “Whenever she cries, he picks her up and holds her in his arms, and she immediately stops crying. It’s the cutest thing,” says a source close to the couple.
“Eric is amazing. He is involved with every single thing, and Maxwell adores him,” added an insider. This is no surprise to Jessica who has predicted that Eric would be an “amazing” father because he’s a born leader.
How has the new mom being doing since the birth of Maxwell Drew on Tuesday? “Jessica is doing great and really happy,” says a source. “She’s feeling well and relieved the baby is healthy. The baby is beautiful!”
Jessica is said to be working on a new maternity line to add to her fashion empire, and she’s been offered $700,000 for the first baby pictures of the little girl. The new mom has also signed up for a multi-million dollar contract with Weight Watchers.
We know she’s been getting a lot of flack for her baby weight gain, but can’t a woman enjoy her pregnancy! Anywho, we’re happy to hear that the party of three are doing well, and we can’t wait for the first pics of Maxwell Drew!
