The Voice Final Four: Tony Lucca Sings 99 Problems, Causes Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera Fight

Juliet Simms sings Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy” as a thank you and tribute to her coach, CeeLo Green. Her version is far inferior to CeeLo’s… but she’s still a fabulous singer I think.

Chris Mann and Christina Aguilera sing the classic ballad “The Prayer” by Andrea Bochelli and Celine Dion. Christina is nervous because she isn’t trained in this genre but Chris Mann coaches her during practice. I’m so excited!

Tony Lucca sings Jay-Z’s “99 Problems.” He’s definitely attempting the whole “completely twist a popular 90s song” technique which he successfully executed with Britney’s “Hit Me Baby” earlier on in the show. This time around I’m not as impressed.

Blake Shelton is confused by some of the changed lyrics but thinks it’s a cool version of the song. Christina says the lyrical connotation was derogatory toward women. CeeLo says, “I thought it was haaaard! I liked it.” Adam clarifies that the “b(!&#! Ain’t one refers to life’s problems and not women. When Christina refutes him, Adam spits back, “It’s called a metaphor!” He then rips off his flannel button-down to reveal a glittery “Team Xtina” shirt.

What is up with them this season? They must be in love.
