2012 Daytime Emmy Nominations: Full List Here!
The 2012 Daytime Emmy Award nominations have been announced – and “General Hospital” leads the pack with 23 nominations, including best lead actor in a drama series for both Maurice Bernard and Anthony Geary and best lead actress for Laura Wright.
After GH, the most-nominated soaps were ”The Young and the Restless” (16 noms) and “Days of Our Lives” (15 noms). “All My Children,” “The Bold and the Beautiful” and One Life to Live” earned 11 nominations each.
In addition, “Sesame Street” received 16 nominations and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” scored 12. ”The Today Show” was nominated six times, comapred with only one for “Good Morning America” – but GMA earned more viewers than “The Today Show” last month (for the first time in 16 years!), so GMA could be considered the real winner this year.
