Rihanna Parties Hard – Maybe Too Hard
Following her hospitalization after the Met Gala earlier this week, Rihanna’s fans and friends are concerned that she may be partying a bit too hard.
Media Takeout reports that the star was admitted to a New York hospital after the Gala for ‘exhaustion’ and ‘dehydration’, two things I’ve never heard a non-celebrity admitted to a hospital for. Rihanna later tweeted pictures of her arm hooked up to an IV drip.
A source close to RiRi tells Star Magazine, “Rihanna loves to party but this past month she’s gotten really out of control. She’s been drinking almost every day and talking about smoking weed a lot, too.”
Her friends, according to the source, are worried about Rihanna, and are urging her to consider getting help for what they see as a potential substance abuse problem:
“Everyone is telling her to slow down and think about therapy, or even rehab,” says the source.
The Umbrella singer has spent the last few months jetting between London, Sydney, Hawaii and New York, attending a number of parties and events. She was recently spotted at a strip club in Queens, where she posted a number of raunchy pictures of herself partying it up with a bunch of strippers on Instagram, followed by a pretty haggard ‘morning after’ shot.
