Sofia Vergara Splits From Boyfriend Nick Loeb – The Two Call It Quits, Or Do They?
Sofia Vergara has ended her two-year relationship with boyfriend Nick Loeb. The Modern Family actress donned a stellar Marchesa dress for Monday night’s Met Gala, without Nick Loeb on her arm. Sources say that she confided to a friend during the Gala, saying that she ended things with Loeb.
“They have been fighting a lot recently and have been on the brink of splitting many times. It is not yet clear if they are over for good, but they are done as a couple for now,” says an insider.
Trouble for the couple began with the 39-year-old’s growing fame. The pressure and demands of Sofia’s hit TV show, her increasing appearances in the public eye, fashion line, and endorsement commitments produced a rift between the two.
Did we mention that Sofia was ranked #1 by AskMen.com as The Most Desirable Woman of 2012? This proved too much for the Senate hopeful. The couple met during a Golden Globes party in 2010, and became so serious that Loeb moved to L.A. to be closer to the Columbian bombshell.
This news comes as a shock since the two were photographed together at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner where they seemed “blissfully happy.” Loeb is no stranger to poltics–he considered running for Florida state Senate last year, and his father John Loeb Jr., served President Reagan as an ambassador to Denmark.
So for now it two have ended things, and AskMen.com’s most desirable woman is single. But with a title like that, we doubt it’ll be for long.
