Cougar Town Moving to TBS!
Cougar Town is NOT being canceled – it’s moving to TBS! Deadline Hollywood reports that a fourth season of Cougar Town will premiere on the cable network in early 2013 – and based on the actors’ contracts, a fifth season is a possibility. No word yet on how many episodes will be in Cougar Town‘s season four, but 15 is the rumor.
“Cougar Town is a smart, whimsical sitcom that draws its humor from likable, relatable characters” said Michael Wright, president, head of programming for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies. “We are thrilled to have Cougar Town moving to the TBS neighborhood as the network continues to expand its slate of original comedy series.”
We agree! I’m filling up my own Big Carl to celebrate. What? It’s not even noon? Don’t judge me!
The cast has yet to respond on Twitter.. but we know @CourteneyCox, @BusyPhilipps25, @ChristaBMiller and show co-creator @VDOOZER must be stoked.
