Rihanna Unfollows Chris Brown on Twitter: It’s About Time
Chris Brown has finally crossed the line (which apparently exists beyond domestic violence, in the terrifying realm of ‘disses in rap songs’).
Following the release of Chris’ new track, a freestyle over Kanye West’s Way Too Cold, RiRi unfollowed the 23 year old rapper/alleged woman beater over some really nasty lyrics that appear to have been aimed at her. The lyrics, below (with emphasis added by me), are pretty disturbing given Chris’s history:
“Don’t f**k with my old b**ch it’s like a bad fur/ Every industry n**ga done had her/ Trick-or-treat like a pumpkin just to smash her.”
Chris tweeted that the lyrics were not necessarily about his ex, tweeting, “Assumptions! I didn’t say any names so if u took offense to it then its something you feel guilty about.” The two young celebs unfollowed each other shortly thereafter.
The two seemed to be getting close a few months back when they collaborated on Rihanna’s Birthday Cake remix and Chris’s Turn Up The Music, a move that (understandably) drew criticism from fans. Now it seems that they may be parting ways for good.
Good riddance, I say.
