Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling Take a Romantic Stroll in NYC (VIDEO)

We can officially retire the breakup rumours that were recently circulating about Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes – the two lovebirds were recently spotted strolling hand in hand through New York and looking very much in love. We imagine that this casual afternoon jaunt was prompted by Ryan’s declaration of, “Hey girl, let’s spend the day getting takeout and looking adorable in public.”

Earlier this week, Mendes attended the Met Gala alone, the last in a string of solo appearances by both stars. Obviously, this only served to contribute to rumours that she and Gosling were getting ready to call it quits.

However, in a recent interview with USA Today Magazine, Eva (who is often reserved when asked about her beau) described her relationship with the Drive star as, “the most precious thing to me.”

Ryan and Eva met on the set of The Place Beyond The Pines, a drama in which they played lovers. Eva reported that Ryan was her ‘dream co-star’, and ‘amazing’.

The two have been together for eight months, and it looks like they’re in it for the long haul. We’re glad to see that this adorable couple is still going strong!
