The Bachelorette: Emily Maynard Performs With Muppets, Kalon Becomes House Villain
Emily goes on her first group date. The men enter a theatre and are informed they will be performing today. Charlie the recruiter looks especially squirmy. The event will benefit the Ricky Hendricks Foundation.
The group is greeted by Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy.
Five of the men are assigned as the dancers, five others as singers. Fozzy the Bear tells another group which includes Charlie they will be doing stand-up comedy. Charlie begins to mentally break down.
Charlie goes into Emily’s room and tells her that he’s insecure with the stand-up routine because he has a speaking disability from his former falling accident. Emily is completely understanding and they agree to transfer him to the dance department.
The show proceeds and, from what I can tell by the snippets, it seems pretty bland. Lots of bad singing and medicore dancing. However, Kermit and Miss Piggy killed it.
During the show, the guys see Emily’s daughter, Ricky, for the very first time.
Afterward, Chris the corporate sales director takes Emily aside to assure her that he’s really into her. She tells him that he’s incredibly good looking and he is completely floored. Emily then takes Jef aside to inquire why he’s been so absent. She says he makes her feel awkward, like in junior high.
Stevie the Party MC takes Emily downstairs to teach her some dance moves. Kalon, the rich guy everyone hates, comes down and interrupts which of course pisses Stevie off.
Then another guy comes and takes Emily away. Stevie and Kalon start arguing.
Emily then comes in and gives the rose to Jef. Chris is angry and confused. Jef looks genuinely surprised.
