Emily thinks Joe the field energy advisor looks like Matthew McConaughey. For the record, he looks nothing like Matthew. Their one-on-one date begins with a private airplane. Evening comes and Emily walks down a spiral staircase wearing a hot pink gown. Emily thinks Joe is very sweet but she still thinks there’s a spark missing. She asks him where he sees himself in five years. He says he sees himself happy with no regrets, and he’ll go wherever she tells him to go. They then put love notes into the Love Clock. It’s symbolic. Emily then begins crying and tells Joe she can’t see where she and her daughter fits in his life. Joe looks stone-faced. He says it was a great opportunity and goes home without even giving her a hug.
