The Bachelorette: Emily Maynard Sends Home Aaron the Biology Teacher and Kyle the Financial Advisor
It’s time for the cocktail party. Arie the racecar driver pulls her aside because he hasn’t gone on a single date this week. He mentions that he’s dated a girl with kids before and that he loves children. He probably wins brownie points for that.
Ryan then takes Emily aside and gives her a letter. Tony the lumber trader decides to barge in since Ryan already has a rose but he ends up standing in the room while Emily reads Ryan’s love letter aloud. So awkward.
After about 15 minutes of grueling waiting and standing, Tony finally gets to speak to Emily. He wants to tell her about his five-year-old son Taylor. He emphasizes how much of a sacrifice he’s making for her.
Kalon is brewing in the shadowy corner by himself, and acknowledges himself as the outcast. He tells Emily that he’s an old man trapped in a young man’s body. The other guys spy on him. Sean the insurance agent thinks Kalon is using his vocabulary to win the game.
Emily has to send home two men tonight. Kalon is the first to get a rose! I guess his vocabulary has impressed her. Arie is next. Then Michael, Nate, Sean, Chris, Doug, Travis, Tony, John, Alessandro, Charlie, Alejandro and Stevie.
That means Aaron the biology teacher and Kyle the financial advisor are going home.
