American Idol Finale: Phillip Phillips, Jessica Sanchez Get New Cars, Chaka Khan and Rihanna Rock the House
The producers show a montage of Jimmy Iovine screwing up JLo’s name literally over 30 times. His daughter’s name is Jessica as it turns out. At one point, he calls Johsua Ledet “Joshica.” Hahaha!
The Top 12 women come out and sing. They’re all donning highly embellished dresses that are blinding me. Chaka Khan then emerges to complete “I’m Every Woman.” Her entrances infuses a new spirit into the room. Everyone is crazy excited. Randy’s dance moves become more pronounced. Sue Sylvester is in the audience having a grand time. This is a PARTY people.
Both Phillip and Jessica’s music mentors are in the audience. They are presented with new Ford Escapes. Ford is also giving cards to Jessica and Phillip but they obviously knew that already because they don’t seem overly thrilled.
Next up: Rihanna is in the house! She materializes in a pyramid and does her usual thing.
