Usher and Tameka’s Custody Battle Gets Ugly (VIDEO)
We all know divorce isn’t a pretty sight. Neither is battling over custody of the children. Usher and Tameka Foster‘s divorce has come to a heated peak. The R&B star was in court earlier this week, testifying against his ex-wife, who’s seeking full custody of their two boys, Usher V and Naviyd.
We often worry about the kids in such situations, and this case is no exception, but dating a divorced man or woman has its troubles. You don’t have to tell this to Usher’s new girlfriend, Grace Miguel, who’s seen some of the worst parts of their disputes.
According to Usher, Tameka spit at Grace and threatened her life. The altercation occurred when User and Grace went to Tameka’s to drop off one of the boys. Usher testified that Tameka became enraged and screamed the following: “I’m gonna kick you’re a**. B**ch, get out of the car. How dare you bring this woman into my sub-division in my house.”
Usher said that his ex-wife continued to spit. At one point, she pulled the door open and tried to swing at Grace.
“Of course, I tried my hardest to prevent the situation from escalating … but [Foster] continued to swing, spit, at this point she had pulled the door open and began to pull Ms. Miguel,” testifies Usher.
The singer stood between the two women, and it this point, Foster hit Usher. “We exchanged words. I just told her this was no way to act.” As he was driving away, Usher reports that Tameka “threw her plate of food” at his car.
The singer remained composed until Tameka’s attorney began questioning his capabilities as a father. Usher grew emotional and dabbed at his eyes as he addressed the allegations that he’s a party animal who has a drug problem.
The court battle should continue for a few more days before a verdict is reached.
