Extreme Makeovers — How Stars Stay Young (VIDEO)
Since former supermodel Janice Dickinson showed off her wrinkled legs in LA, it made us wonder how the stars stay looking so young.
In a business of beauty and appearance, how do celebrities cope with having their mug constantly in the spotlight? According to Jennifer Aniston, she keeps her complexion clear with laser therapy. She recently told Conan O’Brien that her skin care regime may be too much for some. Not taking into account the cost–laser therapy has your skin peeling for a week or two after the process. But by golly, no more sun spots! We have to give it to her though–she looks fabulous.
Private Practice star Kate Walsh opts for your regular hair dye. Albeit, it’s most likely in a super expensive salon where a cut and wash would amount to a month’s rent, but hey, she isn’t counting her pennies. Kate is naturally a blonde, but dyes her hair for her signature red tresses. It’s rare nowadays that a redhead is actually a redhead. I think the stats are 12% or something, but don’t quote me on that.
Kate claims that she hasn’t pursued cosmetic surgery because she needs her face to move freely for her acting gigs. Maybe someone should have informed Nicole Kidman… The woman’s forehead does not move!
Glee actress Heather Morris revealed that she had breast implants, but removed them shortly thereafter. In an industry that promotes women’s ‘assets,’ this is a surprising move, but more power to her. She looks great with or without the implants. To each their own.
If we had a list of the celebrities who have gone under the knife, this would be a very long post indeed. But most notably, Ashlee Simpson received some attention after having a really obvious nose job in 2006. And Joan Rivers… No comment.
Other stars have claimed that they stay looking young by eating well and working out. You mean, you have to work at looking good. Oh.
