Reporter Who Tried to Kiss Will Smith Says He’s Sorry (VIDEO)
The reporter who was caught on film apparently trying to kiss Will Smith (and then promptly getting slapped across the face by the actor) at a Men In Black 3 premiere has apologized for his actions.
“I do apologize for my behavior,” says the Ukranian reporter. “Now I understand that it was too much. I tried to kiss him on the cheek, but he moved his head so fast, then it turned out as if I wanted to kiss him in the ear. It was chaotic.”
Smith recently went on the Late Show With David Letterman and told the host how he felt about the ordeal:
“We’re doing an interview and he says, ‘I’m you’re biggest fan, can I have a hug?’ So I go to give this joker a hug, and he tries to lean in and kiss me! It’s just awkward,” explained the Fresh Prince of Bel Air actor. “They were saying, ‘We’re sorry, that’s just his schtick’. Well that’s why his a– got schtuck.”
“Of course after analyzing the story, I can say it was emotional impulse. I deeply respect him as an actor. I just wanted to do something to impress him.”
Will Will accept his apology, or give him the kiss off? Only time will tell.
