Robert Pattinson made a pretty grand entrance at Cannes when he came to support his girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, at the premiere of her new flick, On The Road. Yes, that’s right: the ‘are they, aren’t they’ rumors can be put to rest, because these two are definitely a couple.
The actor, who plays Edward Cullen in the Twilight series, showed up to the premiere in a speed boat, wearing a Bond-esque dark suit. He let Stewart have her moment on the red carpet before walking it solo. Stewart posed with her On The Road co-stars, jumping on the leg baring trend with an embroidered Balenciaga gown with a thigh-high split.
The two lovebirds, who met on the set of Twilight, shared a passionate kiss on a balcony at the afterparty for the premiere, officially confirming that they are indeed a couple. This public display of affection comes hot on the heels of a recent interview in which, after seeing a copy of the novel Bel Ami, Kristen slipped and said, “Oh my God, my f—ing boyfriend just did this movie.”
The two have remained mum about the status of their relationship for years, despite constant rumours that they’re lovers both on-screen and off. It seems that these rumours have finally been put to rest.
