Jessica Simpson’s Wedding Date Revealed!
Jessica Simpson has decided on a wedding date with fiance Eric Johnson. The two are going for the luck of triples, and plan to wed at the end of this year: December 12, 2012 or 12/12/12.
Jessica and Eric had previously wanted to wed on 11/11/11, but decided to wait until after the birth of their daughter, Maxwell Drew Johnson, who was born on May 1.
“I want [Johnson] to be my husband so bad, and I do still want to wear the pretty gown and everything, and I have to wait until after the baby,” said Jessica. “And now [our daughter will] just be in the wedding!”
With a busy schedule planning Maxwell Drew’s baptism, her maternity clothing line, and her $5 million contract with Weight Watchers, Jessica is looking for help for an old friend.
Wedding planner Mandy Weiss–the planner for her 2002 wedding with former husband Nick Lachey–will be helping the singer with her December nuptials. Weiss also helped Jessica plan the Charlotte’s Web-themed baby shower for Maxwell Drew earlier this year.
“Jessica and Eric are eyeing the Hawaiian island of Kauai for the reception for around 60 family and friends,” says a source. It’s reported that the beachside ceremony will be a laidback affair.
