Bachelorette: Emily Maynard Reveals Brad Womack’s Flaws (After Being Serenaded by Dolly Parton)

Arie is next up for the individual date. His card says, “Love is a wild ride.”

They fly on a private plane to Tennessee… and they land in Dollywood! It’s a bit eerie because nobody else is in sight. They play a few games and ride a roller coaster. As it’s Emily’s first time on one, she’s inexplicably terrified.

They end up at the theatre where Dolly performs and attempt to write a love song. Dolly Parton sneaks in and surprises them, causing Emily to freak out. Dolly performs a special song as Emily and Arie slow dance.

Dolly then requests some girl talk. Arie is sent away… backstage or somewhere. Dolly gives her some non-advice.  She mentions that she’s been married for 46 years and she believes in everlasting love. Then Arie is allowed back in and Dolly sings them another song which is surprisingly catchy and sweet.

I think this date gives Arie an unfair advantage.

Emily and Arie go to dinner and she asks him about his previous relationship with a woman with two children. He emphasizes that he really missed the kids. He turns the table on her and asks about Brad. She says Brad was not ready for marriage and kids as much as he thought he was.

She gives him the rose (after first pranking him and leading him on to believe he was getting sent home.)
