Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy are Dating
Mary-Kate Olsen is off the market, everyone. The 25-year-old Olsen twin has spent the past month romancing businessman Olivier Sarkozy, the younger half-brother of former French president, Nicolas Sarkozy. Oliver is 42.
While some may disagree with the May-December romance (for those of you who aren’t mathematically inclined, there are 17 years between the two), Mary-Kate seems perfectly content with it.
An Olsen twins insider tells Us Magazine, “MK is constantly complaining about boys not being mature enough for her. She got the kids out of her system. Now being a businesswoman dominates her time, and she is rarely impressed with guys.”
According to a source, the couple is “head over heels” for each other. The two were spotted together at a Knicks game in April and in the Hamptons on Memorial Day weekend. No word on how the couple came to meet in the first place.
Sarkozy has been married once before, and has two children from this previous marriage. He recently ended a relationship with filmmaker Stella Schnabel. Mary-Kate split up with artist Nate Lowman in 2010, after a two-year relationship. She had previously dated Stavros Niarchos III, and had been linked to the late Heath Ledger.
So, what do you think about this somewhat atypical relationship? Is it okay to have such a large age gap between partners, or is there a limit to how many years is acceptable?
