Casey Anthony is Fat, May Be Leaving USA

According to a source close to the accused child-killer, Casey Anthony has packed on the pounds.

Since being acquitted of murdering Caylee Anthony, her two-year-old daughter, Casey has been in hiding at an unknown location. The woman who was dubbed ‘Murder Mom’ by the media has been unable to venture outside due to fears of violence being committed against her by the outraged public.

It’s no secret that the majority of people who followed the case still believe that Anthony is guilty, despite her acquittal, so her fears are not unfounded.

However, it seems that, whether by choice or circumstance, Anthony has found a way to make appearing in public a little safer for herself: packing on the pounds. Radar Online reports that a source close to Anthony reached out to them, saying,

“Casey has been venturing out on a much more frequent basis recently because she is almost unrecognizable. Casey has gained a great deal of weight in the past six months and her face is extremely puffy. She hasn’t needed to wear a disguise because of the physical transformation.”

The source goes on to say that ‘hiding in plain sight’ isn’t enough to make Anthony feel safe, however.

“She is very careful to not linger anywhere when she does and tries not to make eye contact with anyone. Casey doesn’t feel safe anywhere and just wants to leave the country and begin a new life.”

While the alleged killer is currently stuck in Florida while she serves her probation for check fraud, she has apparently set her sights on Costa Rica as a place to start a new life once she’s legally allowed to.

“Casey wants to live in a tropical setting and the cost of living is extremely low in Costa Rica. She wants to put as much distance as possible from Florida,” says a source. “She feels this is the best possible place to start a new life. Costa Rica also appeals to her because Americans are warmly embraced by the locals.”

What do you think? Should Casey be allowed to roam free?
