Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves Whispered Their Wedding Vows

Actor Matthew McConaughey and Brazilian model and designer Camila Alves tied the knot on Saturday during an intimate ceremony at their Texan home.

The couple, who have been together for six years, kept things nontraditional and uber private during their ‘I do’s.’ McConaughey, 42, and Alves, 29, whispered their wedding vows to one another, making it arguably the cutest thing ever.

“No one knew what they said,” says a source. “Whatever they said was very emotional. [Camila] was tearing up.”

The longtime couple also have two children together: son Levi, 3, and daughter Vida, 2. They were in no rush to make it official until Matthew popped the question last year.

“We’ve been living a married life for over six years now,” said Camila. “We have homes together, we have family together, we have kids. We’ve built a life together. So we’ve been living a married life this whole time.”

The wedding was reportedly an ‘island meets Texas’ affair to honor the bride and groom’s different backgrounds. The couple not only avoided voiced wedding vows, but also removed the first dance from the reception. However, Camila plans to take her husband’s last name.

The couple and guests danced into the wee hours of the morning, and guests were treated to crawfish, brisket, and fried okra by celebrity chef Guy Fieri. Sounds like a yummy Southern feast!

Congratulations you two!
