The Bachelorette: Kalon Infuriated by Group Date, Shoos Emily Away

The group date card says: “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” The men are dazed and confused by what that means. They postulate that it is Shakespeare. (They’re correct.) Kalon is part of the group date which angers him and prompts him to say that it “really does NOT smell sweet.” Such a creative flair with words he has.

Emily and Sean are still on their date in the prison where beheadings take place. She gives him the rose and he gives her a kiss.

For the group date, they are at Stratford Upon Avon. Emily reveals that they will be acting out scenes from Romeo and Juliet. The men look visibly displeased.

The Shakespeare acting experts determine that Arie and Doug will play the nurses. The rest of the men will play Romeo.

In general, all the men are acting out their parts in jest. However, Kalon is taking things very seriously. He is “meant for this part,” he says. As Kalon and Ryan practice their parts, Emily joins them.

Kalon thinks Emily is getting in the way of his journey to the Tonys/Oscars and literally shoos her away with his hands and says, “Run along now.”

Oh no you didn’t.
