Rihanna Allegedly Ordered to Rehab by Jay-Z
According to sources close to the singer, Jay-Z has threatened to drop Rihanna from his label if she doesn’t get help.
Help for what, you ask? Well, it’s no secret that the 24-year-old has been drinking and partying a bit more than usual lately. RiRi has hit up strip clubs, been hospitalized for ‘exhaustion’, and even been seen spending time with her deadbeat ex, Chris Brown. Despite the fact that she’s been looking increasingly haggard, the pop diva has thus far shown no signs of slowing down her partying.
According to a source, the final straw for her manager, Jay-Z, was when Rihanna missed her flight to the UK for a work trip last week. Jay-Z, who owns the Roc Nation label, was furious, telling her, “Go to rehab now or I’ll drop you from the label.”
A friend of Rihanna explained, “She’s not happy, but she now feels she has no choice.”
Hopefully Rihanna is able to get it together soon. This promising young starlet could have many years left in her career if she’s able to keep her partying under control and avoid the downward spiral that befalls so many other young artists.
