Man Tightrope Walks Across Niagara Falls! (WATCH)
Just a little under a month after another man inadvertently plunged (almost) to death in the fiery waters of Niagara Falls, 33-year-old daredevil stuntsman Nik Wallenda successfully walked from one end of it to another on a two-inch tightrope.
Wallenda is the first man to ever accomplish this feat.
Televised live by ABC, numerous cameras and amazed bystanders stood around Wallenda, fixated on his every move. 200 feet above the roaring waters, Wallenda probably had other things in mind.
Wallenda commented: “Oh my God, this is an incredible view. I’m so blessed to be in the position I am, to be the first person to be right here and to be the first person in the world who will ever be right here, this is truly breathtaking.”
After completing the stunt and allowing his wife and children to breathe a sigh of relief, Wallenda advised, “It’s all about the concentration, the focus, and it all goes back to the training.”
