Bachelorette Emily Maynard Hands Out Extra Rose, Sends No One Else Home
Emily says, “I can’t believe how many different ways my heart is being pulled.” She likens her mental strife to physical pain.
Remember: She already got rid of Travis and Ryan. She gave Chris a rose for being brave during his bad performance at the Highland Games. Arie got a secret metaphorical promise rose. She is least excited about Doug and John.
Sean is the first to get a rose. Jef is next. Arie gets one, too (even though he already knew it thanks to his hotel visit last night).
Doug and John are the last two standing. John looks like he’s keeping it together pretty well but Doug looks sweaty, nervous and upset.
Emily stares at them and unexpectedly leaves. She goes to Chris Harrison and says she doesn’t know what to do.
Chris tells her there are no rules here and she could do whatever she wants. What?! There are totally rules.
“I stand here and I start to second guess my decisions. I had to talk to Chris and realized I couldn’t hand out the final rose.”
The men look devastated. Chris Harrison, probably hiding his giggles, comes in and hands Emily an EXTRA rose. So now Doug and John are both staying.
