“I wish I could see Shia LaBeouf doing interpretive dance and then crying and painting a woman’s naked breasts,” said no one, ever. And yet, for some reason (bath salts, probably), someone decided to make that statement a reality.
And so, the music video for Sigur Rós’ Fjögur Píanó was born from the ashes of Even Stevens and all that is good and right in the world.

The video is 8 minutes and 32 seconds of WTF. It contains butterflies. It contains crossdressing. It contains interpretive dance.
It contains Shia LaBeouf’s penis.
If someone decided to make a video parodying indie music videos, it would not be half as full of hipster tropes as this video is. It takes itself so seriously that it cannot possibly be serious. Except it is.

According to the official press release, the video is about a “man and woman locked in a never-ending cycle of addiction and desire.” Somehow I think it’s going to go down as “that music video with Shia’s boeuf in it.”
Needless to say, this video is not safe for work. I felt uncomfortable watching it at my work, and it is my job to watch horrible things like this and then make you watch them too.
