Bristol Palin’s Reality Show ‘Life’s a Tripp’ Just Isn’t Worth the Trip
You know how you come across super long facebook statuses while scanning through the newsfeed? It’s usually a strangely detailed account of someone’s very normal life, which let’s face it–is totally yawn inducing.
This is what I believe would be the equivalent to Bristol Palin‘s reality show Life’s a Tripp. It follows unwed single mom Bristol Palin through the everyday happenings of raising her son Tripp.
Admittedly, I haven’t seen the show nor will I ever. Well, maybe I’ll accidentally catch it on the screen by mistake, much like I catch a glimpse of Jersey Shore or Toddlers and Tiaras, then I avert my eyes and try to drown out the audio with some humming.
I don’t know what would draw someone to watch this show. Well, people watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians… More shows about people who are famous, and yet we don’t really know why.
So, back to Life’s a Tripp. Even with all that media attention around the bar heckler that dissed Bristol’s mom, it seems that the show is still eye-gougingly boring. There isn’t even that added drama of a single unwed mom trying to make ends meet by any means possible (see: Octomom). Bristol has no pressure to earn any money; her son and her are well provided for; they can decide to live anywhere (L.A. or Alaska).
It may be something that you could put on in the background while you’re washing the dishes or getting prepped for naptime, but it’s definitely not must-see TV. Sorry Bristol, Life’s a Tripp just isn’t worth the trip.
