Alec Baldwin Says Paparazzi is Ruining His Life
According to Alec Baldwin, the paparazzi is ruining his happy life with fiancée Hilaria Thomas.
In a recent interview with E! News, Baldwin explained his recent run-in with a paparazzo, in which he allegedly punched the New York Daily News photographer (who is now threatening to sue him).
“There’s a different part of the press, what I will call the illegitimate press, they [had] made an appointment for me that I wasn’t aware of, and they come jumping out of the bushes to remind me about it and that creates a problem,” Baldwin said.
The actor called out the paparazzi for being unscrupulous in their attempts to photograph him and his family. He claimed that they will stoop so low as to block doors or even trip him in order to get a good shot.
The actor went on to discuss the effect the attention of the paps is having on his fiancée:
“[It’s] a very stressful thing because for me, it’s ruining the life of my wife to-be, and what if I had a kid? It really is something that’s become a menace.”
The interesting thing about this statement is that Baldwin does have a daughter, Ireland, with ex-wife Kim Basinger.
