Jon Gosselin Apologizes to Kate for His Post-Divorce Behavior

It seems that this once dueling couple have made amends. According to People, Jon Gosselin has apologized to Kate for his behavior post split.

“I am sorry, because I did stuff I wouldn’t want done to me,” says Jon, 35. The father of eight began dating a slew of women after his divorce from wife, Kate, 37. “I was passive-aggressive,” he adds. “Then I’d get mad, but I was the one who wasn’t communicating.”

Three years later, the couple seem to be getting along. “I’ll call [Kate] up and say, ‘Mady’s sick. What do I do?’ And she’ll tell me,” he says. “She’s a great Mom. We just have different parenting styles.”

The two starred in a highly popular TLC reality series Jon and Kate Plus 8 which documented the hectic and lovable life of parents raising eight children. I think most people let out a collective sigh when things began to unravel between the two, and once Jon left the show, it just wasn’t the same anymore.

Jon is now working as a director of sales and promotion for Gameface International and is dating single mom, Liz Jannetta, 27. He says that he has a different perspective on life and has been speaking with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, who was Michael Jackson’s rabbi.

“He said, ‘There are two things you can do with your fame–sell out or take it and use it for good.’ I didn’t grasp that at the time.” If he returns to the entertainment industry, we’re not sure what Jon would do really.

“I’ve been offered a lot of stuff,” he says. “Crazy stuff. It wasn’t the right fit, then or now. I don’t want [my kids] thinking I take every show just to make a buck.” For the sake of their children and themselves, it’s good to hear that the two are slowly patching things up.
