Lindsay Lohan’s ‘Exhaustion’ Prompts Investigation

Well, it was the nap heard around the world. Lindsay Lohan was supposedly hospitalized last week after suffering from “exhaustion” and “dehydration.” Actually, the actress of Liz & Dick was just sleeping and didn’t answer the door.

Now, union reps are visiting the set after tweets from Lohan reporting that she’s “exhausted” from working “85 hours in 4 days.”

The Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) have sent a representative to visit the set. ”We have spoken with representatives from the company, and they are fully aware of their contractual obligations. We will ensure that all applicable penalties will be paid,” said the guild.

So far, nothing is amiss. A rep has been with the cast since Friday and continues to monitor the hours and working conditions, reassures Mike Miller the rep for IATSE–the stage employees’ union. There were reports that two crew members were also suffering from exhaustion, but these allegations have been false.

It’s a good thing that SAG-AFTRA and IATSE are taking these precautions, especially with Lohan’s track record. It has me thinking though: LiLo’s tweets are more of a way to tell her followers that, Yes, she is actually working hard. These tweets aren’t condemnations of her working conditions.

We’re relieved that she’s working, but let’s try and keep the car collisions and faulty alarms to a minimum, Lindsay.
