Bristol Palin’s ‘Life’s a Tripp’ Tanks: LOL (VIDEO)

In what is probably the least surprising event of 2012 so far, it turns out that nobody wants to watch Bristol Palin’s new reality TV show.

According to the Nielsen ratings, only 726,000 tuned in, down from the 1.1 million that watched Dance Moms, which immediately preceded it.

While that is very low compared to typical numbers, it still makes you wonder: which 726,000 people thought that watching Bristol Palin’s reality TV show would be a productive use of their time?

While the Palins were once extremely polarizing and controversial figures in the media, it seems that nowadays, no one really cares about them anymore. Probably because when you set aside the idiotic statements that they occasionally make, they really aren’t that interesting. Nobody who lives an average life (complete with struggles to pay bills, manage time, etc.) wants to hear about the personal ‘struggles’ of a wealthy, whiny 21-year-old.

“I think it’s weird having my life broadcast to everyone,” says Bristol in the trailer for her reality TV show in which she willingly broadcasts her life to everyone. “I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.”

As David Zurawik, TV columnist for the Baltimore Sun said, “The Palins are finished – kaput.”

Looks like Bristol might just get her wish.
