Charlie Sheen For President of the United States?
Charlie Sheen as the President of the United States? No the world isn’t coming to an end.
Remember when Charlie Sheen did more than swear at people, drink heavily, and just talk out of his arse? No? No neither. But yes, the guy used to act. Charlie Sheen has been cast as Mr. President for an uncoming film called Machete Kills. The notorious bad boy is pegged to play the big man in the oval office, and director Robert Rodriguez is hyped about it.
“I just cast Charlie Sheen in #machetekills as the President of the United States! Who better? More soon…” tweeted the director. Rodriguez also directed the precursor film simply called Machette.
Sheen retweeted the news, and says that he’s in negotiations right now. The film will feature big names such as Jessica Alba, Mel Gibson, Sofia Vergara, Zoe Saldana, and Amber Heard. Danny Trejo will take the title role as Machete. The plot involves the U.S. government trying to stop a cartel and arms dealer who’s sent a weapon into space. Nothing would be more out of this world than seeing Charlie do more than yell at innocent bystanders.
I hope all goes well for the filming. Here’s hoping Charlie doesn’t pull a Lindsay. Who knows, maybe there’ll be more drama on set than in the actual film.
Machete Kills is due out next year.
