Lindsay Lohan Smokes Two Packs a Day on Set, The World is Aghast?
It seems that Lindsay Lohan needs some nicotine to get through her scenes on Liz & Dick. A lot of nicotine. When the director yells cut, a cig is not far behind.
“Literally every time she finishes a scene she lights up another cigarette,” a source reveals. “You can hear the crew saying, ‘That’s cut–get a cigarette for Lindsay.’ ”
It looks like Lindsay’s not alone in her love of nicotine. Hilary Duff was in the headlines recently for holding a friend’s cigarette, and Liam Hemsworth has snapped taking a puff or two.
“In between takes she would sit on the director’s chair puffing on her cigarettes,” adds the source. “Lindsay has been working hard, but without the nicotine she probably could not make it through as she appears stressed at times and they do seem to calm her down.”
No doubt, she’s been stressing. With her recent car collision and hospital scare, it seems that a cigarette now and then isn’t a surprise, but two packs! I’m not a smoker so I don’t know how many cigarettes are in a pack, but I’m guessing that’s a lot to smoke in one day.
Recently Lindsay tweeted about her hospital scare. “Note to self.. After working 85 hours in four days, and being up all night shooting, be very aware that you might pass out from exhaustion and seven paramedics might show up at your door… Hopefully they’re cute. Otherwise it would be a real let down.”
Gimme that ciggie.
Maybe, another ‘note to self’ would be advisable: Two packs of cigarettes a day is too much. It seems that this addiction is only a short-term solution.
