Jenna Jameson Charged with DUI
Jenna Jameson is in trouble with the law. The ex-porn actress was just charged with two counts of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, and one count of driving without a valid license.
The charges are the result of an incident that occurred last month, in which Jameson crashed her Range Rover into a lamppost in Orange County, California. A bystander called police after witnessing the accident, saying in the 911 call, “I was actually getting ready to call you guys because she was drunk. Next thing I know she went into the pole.”
When the police arrived on the scene, Jenna was asked to take a field sobriety test. After the former porn actress “displayed objective signs of intoxication”, according to a police officer who was at the scene, she was taken into custody. Luckily, it was a single-vehicle accident, so no one was hurt. Jameson sustained minor injuries, but did not accept medical treatment.
Jameson’s breathalyzer results were a .13, and Ambien and Suboxone were also found in her system.
Jenna faces up to a year of jail time if she’s convicted of all three charges, although her celebrity status will probably net her a few hours of community service at best.
